Godsmack

Godsmack were a big part of the late ’90s hard rock revival, and they’ve continued to lead the way for legacy rock acts with three No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200, 28 Top 10 singles on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, three Grammy nominations and over 20 million albums sold worldwide. The quartet formed in Lawrence, Massachusetts in 1995 and played their first shows in Boston bars before recording their 1997 independent album, All Wound Up…, which was later reworked as their quadruple-platinum, major label debut, Godsmack, in 1998.
